Body scan
Our body is the vehicle we operate in the world through. Through this body we think, feel, see, hear, taste and touch. This body holds the unresolved memories as well as the magic to working through anything. Therefore this exercise will use the body to help us orient back to present time.
The ability to orientation is important no matter what we do.

To help us navigate the future or reconcile the past we need to be able to bring ourselves back to the present time in any moment. The more we build this muscle the more we can deal with anything that comes our way.
This simple technique of a body scan helps in a few minutes to come back to this moment, noticing whatever you notice with no judgement and allowing yourself to be present. It is a technique you can do anywhere and as many times as you need to.

Sit in a chair with a strong back on it or sit leaning against a wall or lie down, the main thing is your back is supported.
