How I work
My work is integrative and tailored. This means I draw from a range of psychotherapy, neuroscience informed and body based approaches to meet you where you are.
You do not need to choose a method before your session. We work with what is most supportive for your nervous system, your goals and what is emerging in the moment.
-
Some sessions are reflective and insight based.
-
Some are more body focused and regulating.
-
Most are a blend of both.
This allows the work to be practical, deep and effective.
Focused Therapy, Tailored to the Client
My work is focused and practical.
Some clients come with a very specific issue and experience meaningful change within a relatively small number of sessions. When the right doorway is found, things can move surprisingly quickly.
At the same time, people working with complex trauma, attachment wounds or long standing relational patterns may benefit from a longer therapeutic process.
Rather than following a fixed model of therapy, the work is shaped around you. Your history, your nervous system and the goals you bring.
The focus is never on keeping people in therapy indefinitely. The focus is on helping you develop insight, regulation and practical tools that support real change in your life.
