The purpose of a discovery call is to see whether we are a good fit to work together.
 

People come to Beyond Talk Therapy™ for many reasons. Some arrive with a clear issue they want support with. Others simply have a sense that something is not working, that patterns keep repeating, or that despite insight and effort, things have not shifted in the way they hoped.
 

My work supports change across multiple levels, including thoughts, emotions, the nervous system, relationships and unconscious patterns. This includes experiences shaped early in life, sometimes before we had language, as well as responses that continue to show up in the present. These patterns can affect many areas of life, including relationships, work, parenting, health, emotional wellbeing and self confidence.
 

Sessions are tailored to your individual needs and we work at a pace that supports regulation and integration. While some people come for a small number of sessions, meaningful change often happens over time. Patterns that have developed over years usually require more than one session to understand, process and embed into everyday life.
 

Because this work goes beyond talk alone, it is important that you feel ready to engage in the process. Therapy is not about quick fixes, but about building capacity, regulation and sustainable change. For many people, this includes learning how to integrate insights into daily life and support the nervous system as new patterns take shape.
 

A discovery call gives us the opportunity to:

  • Clarify what you are seeking support for

  • Discuss how I work and what therapy may involve

  • Explore whether this approach feels right for you

  • Answer any initial questions you may have
     

The discovery call is usually 15 minutes.
 

There is no cost for the discovery call. Before booking, please review the fees listed on the Services page to ensure they feel workable for you. If we are a good fit, you will be invited to book your first session. Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment.
 

If it becomes clear that I am not the right person to support you, I will do my best to suggest alternative options or referrals where appropriate.
